Grief and Loss
Coming up:
What makes this gathering unique is that, after someone has shared their story, there is no verbal response from others. We simply remain present, listen to one another, and pause through simple rituals to acknowledge what is there. This evening is inspired, among others, by the work of Camille Sapara Barton (Tending Grief).

Honoring Grief: Loss in Many Forms
On Sunday, May 10,
I will be hosting a circle of loss.
In my view, grieving together is a prerequisite for a healthy society.
I have personally experienced the healing power of a loss circle: an intimate space where experiences of loss can be shared, both large and small. This can include the loss of a person, but also the loss of a relationship, a dream, social justice, or a healthy Earth.
